Jardín 17
Open to the public

Across the street from Casa Estudio Luis Barragán, Jardín 17 extends the architect’s domestic experiments into a long, enclosed landscape. Paths, dense planting, walls and a reflecting pool reveal the garden gradually rather than presenting it as a single view.
The space functioned as an annex to Barragán’s house and studio. Alberto Kalach led its restoration in 2016, preserving the established vegetation and completing the reflecting pool before the garden reopened as a space for exhibitions and public programs.
