A concrete sculpture built for Plaza de las Fuentes, one of the main entrances to Jardines del Pedregal — its form reads as something between a serpent and an invented animal. An early collaboration between Mathias Goeritz and Luis Barragán, it announced the new district with a single public object rather than a gate or a sign.
