Yakov Belopolsky

Yakov Belopolsky led the design studio behind several research institutes on Nakhimovsky Prospekt in the postwar decades, including the Institute of Oceanology, the Central Scientific Medical Library and INION — buildings that gave Soviet science and scholarship an architecture of their own.
