Casa-Cueva Juan O'Gorman

O’Gorman built the house into a natural cavity in the volcanic landscape rather than placing a separate object above it. Mosaics, rock surfaces and irregular rooms marked his movement away from strict functionalism toward an architecture shaped by terrain and personal symbolism.
