# Mexican Pink

Not a single, commercially fixed shade — across Barragán's work "Mexican pink" moves between a bougainvillea-red pink, a colder fuchsia and a dusty, lime-washed rose depending on light and surface. The color is often traced to bougainvillea itself, carried from the plant onto heavy plastered walls until it reads as architecture rather than decoration.

Because no two houses use quite the same pink, this page exists to hold the range rather than a single formula — individual buildings that use it (a Cuadra San Cristóbal wall, a Casa Gálvez courtyard) will each record their own reading against this baseline once those entries have a palette of their own.
